The edition includes a reprint of five volumes from Poznań from 1828-1829, the publication of which is the first volume of the "New Polish Parnas" series. The volume includes: Ballady i Romanse; Various poems; Historical novels (Konrad Wallenrod, Grażyna, Dziady); Sonnets; Crimean sonnets.

At the end of the Appendix
with the ballad "Escape". Below the portrait there is a printed fragment of Mickiewicz's manuscript - the first likeness of an autograph in his printed works.

“As a bibliographic specimen, this edition is a real exception in a number of Mickiewicz editions. Printed in 8-ki format on paper
flaccid and impermanent in two columns, tightly pressed next to each other. [...] The edition of "Poezyj" is one of the rarest Mickiewicz's editions. Copies of "Poezyj" are always found in a worn-out state - paper has not resisted time "(Semkowicz).

"The Poznań one-volume edition is one of the rarest works by Mickiewicz's today" (Syga).

Some copies were supplemented with the two-sheet piece "Śpiew do Niemna" by Karol Kurpiński, which is missing here.
